"I want to connect with my partner and don't know how."

"We haven't had sex in a long time, and I'm getting worried."

"We keep arguing about the same things over and over."

"Sometimes it's like we are roommates, not partners."

"We love each other, but it's really hard to make this work sometimes."

Sound familiar? You are not alone. These are things couples say all the time in our therapy room. Relationships are hard. We can help.

No matter where you are in your relationship, therapy can help you connect, repair and grow. Through interactive, hands-on sessions, we can help you and your partner:

  • Improve communication and help you get unstuck

  • Address physical intimacy issues (click for more) such as different levels of desire

  • Prepare for a long term commitment with pre-commitment / pre-marital therapy

  • Recover from infidelity or an affair

  • Manage an unexpected crisis, such as a health crisis or unemployment

  • Navigate major life changes, such as moving in, changing careers, having children, or committing to each other

  • Learn how to have healthy conflict rather than destructive conflict

Couples therapy is designed to improve the connection and bond between you no matter what life throws at you. Using a combination of effective therapy models and the latest research, we will first assess and understand your unique relationship. Then we will work together to achieve your goals by practicing new skills in session that you can take home with you.

Couples of all backgrounds are warmly welcome here, including consensually non-monogamous couples, LGBTQIA+ and gender diverse couples. Your lived experiences as individuals and as a couple will be integrated into our work together. We have specific experience working with first and second generation immigrants, and intercultural couples (partners from different ethnic backgrounds). Most of the couples we see are in their 20's, 30's or 40's.

Regardless of the reason, most couples wish they had started sooner. Reach out now to learn more about how couples therapy can help your relationship. Video teletherapy and in-person sessions are available.
